The Mothers In My Life:

The only down side to the day here…of course…Was not being able to share the day with the wonderful women the Lord has placed in my life.

But the great thing about them is that I know they would have rather me be sitting in the special Mother’s Day service this morning here in our city than sitting in their houses around the dinner table this afternoon.

And that’s why I am so blessed.

I truly have some of the most supportive, Jesus loving mothers in my life!

My mom has always been such a great example to me as a wife and mother. She has taught me to love better, to give more, to cherish every second with my kids, and to serve Christ with my whole heart. She is definitely my encourager and one of my best friends. She makes time for me no matter the time difference. She will drop anything when I call, she listens to everything I have to say, and she encourages me to keep moving forward in the times where most would say “it’s okay to give up.” Words cannot express how much I love her and miss having her around especially in raising my girls. Though our time with her is often short she has influenced their lives greatly and for the better! We love our mimi!

My mother-in-law is amazing! I respect her so much for raising the godly man that is my husband, and for taking me in as a daughter from the moment I met her. The more I am around her the more I see how much she cares for others. She is such a giving person! I have always felt like I could talk to my mother in law about anything. She always helps me see how others may feel or what the other side of a situation may be. I cherish her sharing her wisdom with me.

This spring, I was blessed to spend a week with both my mother and mother-in-law, and I cannot tell you how much it meant to me to have this opportunity. I had such a wonderful time with them, and today, I know how blessed I am even more than before having shared this time with them.

Another mom in my life is my “Mom #2” as I call her :). My pastor’s wife has been like I second mom from the first day that I met her. I can’t tell you all the things that she has taught me because it would literally take all day. She has made such an impact on my life and I am forever blessed just having known her! She is truly one of the wisest, kindest, most caring women I have ever met, and I think of her daily.

I told you….

I am insanely (overly used word recently I know! lol) blessed!

I can’t believe that the Lord would put so many beautiful women in my life to help mold me into what he has for me.
