It’s Thanksgiving week! And we have so much planned! :)

First off…

Let’s talk today’s Thanksgiving meal prep!

Day 1:

-Start thawing out the turkey in the refrigerator!

And…that’s all! I decided to keep Monday simple so that I could get a little rest after the busy weekend :)  Since our turkey is on the small side, it only needs around three days to thaw in the refrigerator.

Other plans for the week?

Besides the cooking, my husband had the great idea to do something fun as a family each night this week to celebrate Thanksgiving!

Normally, our weeknights consist of homeschool, homework, dinner, and bed.

But this week, we’re taking a break from the homeschool, getting the homework done as fast as we can each night, and surprising the kids with a fun activity to do for the rest of the evening!

Yay for the holidays!

For their first activity,  we surprised the girls with a weeknight trip to the mall for dinner, and some play time at the indoor playground! Daddy even played which made it all the more fun!

The girls giggled and giggled and giggled…which turned my heart into absolute mush, of course!

And when it was time to head home, I could tell they definitely had a blast! A perfect start to our week!

To end…

I’m so thankful for my girls and their handsome daddy.

It makes my heart so happy to see how much they love and adore each other.

I love that my man makes the holidays so fun for us all, and sees how important it is to take the time to do something special as a family when you have the chance.

God has given me more than I could have dreamed of!

I certainly don’t deserve to have been blessed with such a beautiful family.

He’s been too good to me!
